It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you.

All those memories, the unanswered questions came back to me.
I remembered how much I loved you.
I couldn’t stop turning my head in your direction, to get a better view of you.
I saw you
And
Our eyes met.
You gave me a smile but I couldn’t because I haven’t forgiven you.
I saw you
And
I didn’t know I would feel this way.
You broke me but I was doing fine.
Now watching you here with someone else broke my heart once again.
It felt like dying but in slow motion.
I saw you
And
I realized I wasn’t over you.
I didn’t know I still loved you until now.
They always say that nostalgia is the best thing.
But let me tell you that,
Nostalgia isn’t always a good feeling.
